Sports and more sports...

So, I'm back to playing badminton once more after resting 2 days. Lol, starting the love the game so much. I've gotta play as often as I could before I go back to Perlis. Supposed to hang out at Asia Cafe at 4.45pm for Chor Dai Dee, but Edwin was too tired. Lol, some other day I guess. Currently, my hangout members will be Alex, Edwin, Sidarth and Yao Huang. As for Kevin and Andrew, I'll be hanging out with them once they've done all their assignments and tutorials. Lol. I could help u guys man! Jkjk.

For the next 2 days, I'll be working in Carrefour Subang Jaya. Promoting Magnolia ice-cream. Wages are RM90 per day. 9 working hours. Good ain't it? I have no choice, since my money is running out fast. Besides, I'm gonna do my end year shopping once the Mega Sales arrive.

Hibernate

Nothing much for today. What I did was simply resting at home while my muscles absorb more protein to form stronger bonds. Haha, that's what Yao Huang told me. Oh btw, I've finish Need For Speed Most Wanted lol. Blacklist #1...didn't take much effort to win him though lol. The worst part was the ending, where I have to shake a bunch of police cars chasing after me. Zzz. Took me about 2 hours just to escape. Dammit, all of them are in Corvettes. Freaking fast and furious.

Revitalized and Energised

Owh what a tiring day. Man, this body of mine have not been working out for the past few months. Stamina, muscles and etc seems to be low, close to critical condition. Ytd, I went for vball at MPSJ with my juniors. Played for a couple of hours. Haihz, I was so disappointed with myself. My vball skills are getting rusty. I can't even dig properly. Couldn't even spike/serve properly. Hmmp, I shall seek my master Raymondo for training after his STPM. Lol.

Later around 2pm, went for badminton at some remote area around Giant. Gosh, it was so in that I got lost for about 45 minutes. Sucks man. Thanks goodness for the low petrol price haha. No worries for the time being. Played for 2 hours. Head back home around 6.00p.m. At night, I meet up with a few of my friends from USJ 4 which is Edwin, Sidarth, Yao Huang and Syekit. Hmmp, some of these ppl have 6 months of hols. Crap man!

Today, I woke up around 1p.m. Lol, dun ask me why. I was like so freaking tired after stretching my whole body. 2 games straight lol. And this morning, I could feel my muscles aching. Expected! Played badminton again at 3.30pm at 3K. This time, I'll have to make sure that I warm up. If not, there goes tomorrow. Couldn't even move a single muscle ahhaha. That's all for now. Currently, I'm playing Need For Speed Most Wanted with hopes of finishing it asap.

Home sweet home

Finally I'm back. Home sweet home baby! So much things to do. Hang out, lepak, pool, swimming, meet up with friends and more. Haha, can't wait to see them all.

OMG @.@!!!! I was stunned!

As for today, I went to my cousin's house for the tea ceremony. She's getting married lol. First cousin at my mom's side to get married. After all those, went back to Subang. Had to go to the bridegroom's house in USJ 2. I was surprised that he stay around Subang. Had lotsa good food today. Fried prawns, sotong, chocolate puding and etc. Ahh, finally. Food, food and more good food. I can't wait to get my hands on all the delicious food that I've been craving back in Perlis.

Late evening, we went down to Bukit Jalil Golf Club and Country Resort for the wedding dinner. Get to know 2 new peeps. Chun Keat, another cousin's bf, and Belle, the makeup artist for the bride. The food there isn't bad either. No complaints as long as I'm back in Subang? Came back home around 11.30pm.

Penang!

This post is suppose to be 2 days ago. Sry for the late post. So, wht's up? Penang trip of course! Head down to Penang for Seafood BBQ buffet woohoo. This was the day tht me and my roomate have been waiting throughout the exam week. Left the hostel around 9.00am. Reach Penang around 11.00++. First thing 1st, we meet up with some aunt in Penang for house rental deposit. One of my seniors will be doing intership in Penang for about 3 months. So, she need to settle the deposit asap.

Next, we went to the new Gurney Plaza wing. Wanted to check things out. I did some window shopping so that I could choose what I need to get at the end of this year. Mega Sale should be on already. As for movies, haihz. Only 007 that caught my attention. The rest, nahh...not interested, especially the horror ones. Later, we head to the arcade for some games. Daytona, House of the Dead 4, and more... One of my buddies spotted a Daytona faulty machine. As I was paying to play, one of them played for free wth!!! Non-stop somemore. Too much man!


Resting...

Around 6.00am, we went to Ghee Hiang to get some Tau Sar Pneah. This traditional biscuit company has established since 1856. Imagine how long was it? O.o! Took 2 boxes for my parents. Finally, we went for BBQ Steamboat. The day has finally come. The moment I entered the restaurant, I rushed to the lala section and grab as many as I could. And these lala are not the normal ones u eat. Its shell is round and thick. Simply my favourite! The rest took drinks, sotong, pork, shrimps, prawns, Tim Sum, assorted balls and vegetables. Ughh, too much to describe. I ate as much as I could. Stuff, stuff and stuff. Who cares? Eat till you drop man!

Finals over!!!

Finally it’s over. It’s OVER!!! My 2nd year 2nd semester is done. My last 2 papers was hard though. Had a hard time finding solutions and deriving formulas. Haihz, shitakanai. Alright, I’m gonna blog about my subjects first.


English II

Ok, I have no idea why I had to take this subject. It is compulsory for all Uni students to take English 2. As for English 1, u are exempted if you gain A1/A2 in your SPM English paper. Overall, I was a lil disappointed with the paper because whatever I read, it didn’t come out. Preset Past Continuous, Future Perfect Tense, Simple Future and Simple Perfect Tense, and etc. These are really hard topics for me, since my English vocabulary and grammar isn’t that good haha.

Digital System II

Owh this paper was a killer. The lecturer just have to give us that degree question from UTM!!! Convert from a MEALY to a MOORE model wtf!!! We are diploma levels for goodness sake! I didn’t have enough time to complete the whole paper. Lost 13marks for leaving one sub-question out. Crap man, just hope that they’ll help to pull up our carry marks. Topics include Counter and Sequential Circuit Design, Flip-Flops and more. 2nd hardest subject after Basic Electrical Technology.

Basic Communication Engineering

Basically, this subject exposes us to communication system such as Amplitude, Frequency, and Digital Modulation. How does the AM modulation works? How the AM envelope is develop to increase transmission of information. Digital Modulation is abit tough since it’s a little diff from the other two. Overall, I would say that this paper is ok la. Sad that I couldn’t answer all the questions…unexpected questions!


Guess what, Computer and Metallurgy Engineering is the last course to complete their finals. Imagine, when every1 is off for hols, and you have to stay behind to complete yr remaining papers. Haha, it’s ok since this is the first time. I’m just glad that both Fire Bridged and Bina Tatanegara camp has been postponed to next semester! Now that I’m done, I shall enjoy for the next 1 month of my hols.

3 down, 4 more!?

Finals, Finals and more finals. They're never ending. Ughh, hate exams lol. Alright, so what's going on lately? My finals of course. Started on the 3/11/08. Come to think of it, time past so freaking fast especially when it comes to examS. Spend about 8 hours a day studying, and lol...1/2 day gone. Next day, spend another 6 hours studying. Most important, I need to maintain my focus on what I'm studying. I don't wanna go BLANK again like last semester.

Imagine, studying so much for Digital System and when you're so into it, suddenly yr brain goes BLANK. Total blank! I was so frustrated with myself. It's either I'm too tired or I'm just remembering what I'm studying without understanding it. Hmmp, in order to prevent this from happening again, I'll just pray before I start any test/exam. Guess what? It helps a lot. So, let's look on the last 3 papers that I've finished.


1) Engineering Mathematics III

This paper was even easier than Maths II. Lol? So what's in it? 1st and 2nd order differential equations. As an example, Separable, Homogeneous, Exact and Linear equations. Next, Non Homogeneous differential equation. Gotta remember 2 methods of solving. The method of Undetermine coefficient and Variations of Parameters.

2) Engineering Entrepreneurship

Lotsa definitions and examples to remember. Gosh, this is a lil worst compared to Communication Skills I took last semester. All about entrepreneurship such as Creativity, Networking, Contracts, Tender, and etc... One thing, I forgot almost everything after that paper ahhaa.

3) Basic Electrical Technology

Hardest subject for Semester 3. Why is it so? Lecturer memang bermasalah. Datang kelas terus baca slide. Tanya soalan, tengok buku. Tanya soalan, dibalas bertanya pada kelas seterusnya. Apabila masuk kelas seterusnya, topik baru pula dibincangkan. I can say that most of us diploma 2nd year students had to study this subject by our own. Thank goodness we won't be seeing her next sem. This paper allows us to choose the topics we're gonna pick for our finals.

Example, if u wanna take question 1,2,3.5.7. All u gotta do is read Chapter 1,2,3,5 and 7. Answer 5 out of 7. Think it's easy even if we could pick the questions? Definitely NOT! I took 3 phase circuits, Electric circuit analysis, AC Machines, Transformer and Magnetic Circuits.
